Hi, thanks for visiting my blog! I wanted to say that the trumpet vine in my backyard has been there a long time without becoming overgrown. I believe it takes awhile to get our of control. We are big hummingbird fans, as you can see from my Savegre Lodge photos in CR. They love Heliconius and never stop at blooms with branches, preferring to hover rather perch. I love your site!
Hi, thank you for the positive feedback, when reading your blog I was surprised to see the trumpet vine grows in Costa Rica and NE USA. It must be a very adaptable plant. We get one variety of hummingbird in NY it is called the ‘Ruby Throated’. I enjoyed the photos on your blog – it seems like another world
Thank you for visiting and following my blog. Although I do not live in the Hudson Valley region I visit frequently because I admire it’s beauty (I’m a Long Islander). I hope you will enjoy the many posts about the Hudson Valley Area on my blog and you have gained a follower 😀
Hi Joe. Nice to hear from you. I really enjoy the photos on your blog. True Americana and with a new way of looking at things. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for stopping by. I think some of your information may be useful to me as I’m not all that far away in SW Pennsylvania.
Cheers
Yes I hope some of the information is helpful to you. Your poem ‘Chores’ reminds me of when I lived in the suburbs – great poem!
Wow. Seeing the familiar with eyes of a stranger is a wonderful gift to cultivate and it’s one that I’m learning through photography. Thank you for dropping by and following my blog. I’ll drop by myself from time to time for some natural inspiration.
Thank you for your comment. It’s interesting reading about the ingredients for perfume on your blog.
